Hendrickje Bathing in a River is an oil on panel painting by the dutch painter and etcher Rembrandt van Rijn. It was painted in 1654. The small Woman bathing in a Stream is so tenderly intimate, so informal in pose and spontaneous in technique that it appears at first sight like the record of an real experience. This painting (61.8 x 47 cm) is currently housed in the National Gallery, London.
